As Stars Collide

In the veil of silence,
between darker stars,
the angels pass over the crystalline sea.
Vast shades engulf the fields,
of roaming asphodel's,
displaced by scents, both bitter and sweet.

Across the great sea and crumbling shores,
how solemn plays the nightingales song...

Soft ripples grow to great waves,
the children fall, upon their battered knees.
Heavens shore bleeds from the chaos,
the chaos of their pain, rising strong,
the flames of cold oblivion.

How softly the lost sheep lay in their sleep,
as the meadows of heaven are burning...
