Nothing(Can Hold Me From You). . .

If I could say such eloquent words,
to make the pain just fade away.
They would be so purely spoken,
and never would our tears have been cried.

For I lay so cold, without your soft touch,
without your pure and warming smile.
No dark eyes, for me to look lovingly into,
no dark beauty for me to hold so true.

Take away this great ocean between us,
bring an end to this great suffering.
If I could hold you in these craving arms,
the joy would return to this cold, grey heart.

Would you hear those eloquent words,
if I sang them into the harsh wind.
Would you return those words spoken,
or would you fall on broken wings.

For I lay, listening to the harsh wind,
with such gracious ears to hear your call.
Nothing will take this love for you,
nothing can hold me from you, nothing...
